Steve Tanner’s life was marked by faith as a child, raised in a Christian home, but he soon found himself lost in the depths of addiction for over 30 years. A life of self-destruction, isolation, and hopelessness nearly cost him his freedom and his very life. Yet, in his darkest moment, God broke through. He opened Steve’s eyes and heart to a Christ he never truly knew, leading him into a transformative journey of redemption.
Now, with a renewed passion for the Word of God, Steve finds himself at a new chapter of spiritual growth at Lifeway Church. It’s here that he’s discovered a depth of Bible understanding he never thought possible. While still growing in his walk with Christ, Steve is honored to serve as the leader of the Cultivator’s Men’s Group. Through this group, he is dedicated to helping men rise above life’s unique challenges and discover victory in Christ, learning to face their struggles with courage, strength, and unwavering faith.
Cultivators meets every other Monday night at 7:00 PM. Steve invites every man to come and experience what God can do when we seek Him together—growing deeper in the Word, building unshakable relationships, and transforming lives for Christ. Together, we can face any battle and emerge victorious in the power of God’s love and grace.
