Lisa's journey began in Carnegie, OK, where she was born into a loving minister's home. Growing up in the nurturing environment of faith, she accompanied her family across various communities in Oklahoma, experiencing firsthand the power of service and devotion.
In 1984, Lisa embraced motherhood, instilling in her children the same values of love and faith she held dear. Three years later, in 1987, she answered the call to full-time ministry, balancing her roles as a mother and a dedicated servant of the church. With a baby on her hip, Lisa could often be found tirelessly working in the Church School cafeteria, embodying the spirit of servant leadership.
Throughout her journey, Lisa's faith has been her guiding light. As a Worship Leader, she led congregations in heartfelt praise and worship, and as a Youth Director, she nurtured the spiritual growth of young believers. Her unwavering commitment to her faith and her family has been the cornerstone of her life and work.
Lisa's strength and resilience were put to the test when she overcame a stroke in 2016, a testament to her unwavering faith and determination. In 2020, she faced yet another challenge with breast cancer, bravely fighting and emerging victorious with the support of her loving family and church community.
As a strong woman of faith, Lisa's life and work continue to inspire and enrich the Lifeway Church community. Her journey is a powerful testament to the impact of a life lived in service to God and others, reflecting the profound strength and grace that comes from walking closely with the Lord.
